Beer Of The Month

Henderson's Best

30 IBU, 5.5%

Henderson’s Best, is a modern take on a classic ESB. Imagine a beer first brewed in Toronto at the beginning of the 19th century and how it would have changed and matured over the 215 years between then and now. It is moderately hopped, with caramel and malt-forward flavour. Well-balanced, smooth, and easy drinking.

Tap Feature

Flying Monkeys

Thursday July 19, from 5 PM

Our simian friends from Barrie are flying down to the big smoke with their usual eccentric collection of special brews.

Tipple Tariffs

Bourbon, Tequilla, and Tariffs

It should come as no surprise that we're taking sides in the trade war started by the folks south of the border. We are putting a tariff wall around all of our bourbon based drinks and have brought in a couple of extra sipping tequillas to help ease the pain:

Casamigos Tequila Reposado -  Created by longtime friends with a shared love of tequila. The focus was to create a smooth spirit that does not require salt or lime. Slowly crafted and aged for several months, results in a golden colour filled with notes of oak, caramel, and cocoa. Superb silkiness on the palate with a finish that is long and smooth.

Tequila Tromba Anejo -  This añejo sees over 20 months of aging in white American oak barrels giving it a bright golden colour with pronounced aromas of green apples and earthiness. Smooth and warming on the palate with more complex flavours of citrus, stone fruit and vanilla.

We will not be re-ordering any bourbon until the American government relents and ends the trade war that they started. Meanwhile we encourage you to explore what the rest of the world has to offer.
