19th Annual Festival Of Craft Breweries
Our annual event to kick off "Pub" season will feature fifty brews from Upper and Lower Canada's leading Craft brewers. From Pale Ales to Peppermint Porters there will be something new for all palates and preferences. Details will be posted as they are finalized. There is no admission charge, samples are a loonie apiece.
Friday September 28 from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m.
New On The Menu
T he beer menu has been bolstered by the return of Great Lakes Devil's Pale Ale as well as the introduction of Trafalgar's Peppermint Porter. Also worth checking out are our own Hazelnut Chocolate Ale and Caraway Rye Beer. We have also made some adjustments to further refine the flavour profile of the darkest light beer in Toronto, Mild Brown Ale (MBA), which at 3.4% alcohol is full of body and flavour.
You can view our complete draught menu here.
Trius Cabernet Franc 2004 is the latest addition to our wine list. It is ruby red and rounded with hints of blackberry and herbs.
The ever popular Le Grand Shepard will be back on the menu this weekend and we will also be introducing some beer floats (who needs root beer when you've got Coffee Porter?) to the dessert menu.
Beer Sale
Fresh beer is important to us. While all of the brews we serve are refrigerated at all times, they are unpasteurized and remain in top condition for a finite time. We have a few bottles of beer in our coolers that are reaching the end of their tastes-great-until-date and need to find an appreciative mouths. In an effort to play matchmaker we are reducing the price of selected bottled brews by a dollar. Next time you drop in check the specials menu, being a connoisseur doesn't have to be expensive.

As you can tell from the reviews below, C'est What is still supporting our local music scene presenting three or four shows a week. Our venue is still the best place to get up close and hear a band before you are listening to them on the radio all of the time.

Those with day jobs may be reluctant to check out a show during the week. Not to fear, here at C'est What shows start within fifteen minutes of their advertised time, and most weekday shows wrap up by 11:30. Enjoy!

It all started with Catch a Falling Star - 4 years old, sitting beside her father at the piano, learning to use both hands to play and sing. A natural born performer - she's been on stage since the age of five, whether it be singing, acting or playing piano. School, church, and local competitions were the training ground for this young talent where she cultivated both classical and popular music. It was in a classical composition class that she was introduced to the idea of writing her own music. She soon began composing on piano and singing with various folk and pop/rock groups in Winnipeg - doing tours, recording, and performing many club dates. Her move to Toronto forced her to become more independent musically. "I didn't have a band anymore, and I certainly didn't want to wait around not performing!" So she worked on her multi-dextrosity and soon became a solo performing act, playing all the clubs in Toronto, sharing the stage with Leslie Feist, sara & tegan, Kurt Swinghammer, Don Kerr, Ember Swift, and others.
