Crescent and Frost combines elements of folk, pop, country, and bluegrass, yet the final product is much more and distinctly its own.

Based in New York City, Crescent and Frost formed in the fall of 2002 around the songwriting of Maryann Fennimore and Daniel Marcus. The pair's efforts have attracted top musicians for the band from New York and the acoustic music haven of Boulder, Colorado.

The Band is receiving attention from some of the top clubs in New York and Pittsburgh, where they held its first multi-city tour in February 2003. Reviews hailed the band's bluegrass background, instrumental prowess and soulful inflection.
