Culture Bandits These trash pop veterans have been rockin' out for a decade, including opening for the Offspring and Doughboys. Their new disc Noise Is For Heroes showcases their jackhammer rhythms, howling vocals, and ear grabbing hooks. Originally formed in 1987 when three Detroit area high school mates fused their respective backgrounds in punk, metal, & pop with technique to form a unique sound. "We tried to make the music as weird as possible, with all sorts of time changes..." but what could have been limited to self-indulgence has captured a loyal following.
