A
graduate of York University's jazz program and an
alumnus of the Banff Centre, 22 year old pianist
Brenda Earle has wasted no time immersing herself in
the local scene.
She
has released her debut CD, Her Main Claim To Fame,
which shows the character and diversity that Earle brings to
jazz. Earle's repertoire mixes standards with jazzed up
versions of pop tunes. All show off her swinging, dextrous
piano playing and a confident voice that has a raw
charismatic charm.
