Lenni Jabour

Lenni Jabour commands attention from her perch at the piano as she leads her band, The Third Floor, through colourful and crooked stories both unpretentious and sincere. Setting a mood the music delves into cabaret meets The Beatles meets Tom Waits [if he were a woman, perhaps] complete with choreographed dance steps.

With an ability to contrast and combine her satirical sense of humour with more personal sides of her material, her ‘tell it like it is’ approach is at once bittersweet and uplifting. These are no doubt some reasons why Billboard has claimed Lenni Jabour as “one of the most promising talents in Canada”.
