Anne McCue PRESS RELEASE Singer/songwriter Anne McCue promotes her extraordinary Relentless Records solo debut of Amazing Ordinary Things with a performance at C'est What. Born in Syndney, Australia her initial career choices were more along the lines of novelist, archaeologist, and long distance runner. McCue eventually moved to Melbourne with little more than a $60 guitar, a small suitcase and a plan to write a novel. Barely settled, she wasted little time joining the heavy rock band Girl Monster as lead guitarist. In her four years with the band they landed two ARIA nominations (the Australian Grammy's). In 1997, as part of Eden a.k.a. McCue toured North America as part of Lilith Fair. Last year she left the band to pursue a solo career and was immediately signed to the newley formed Relentless Records label as their debut artist.
