The August 2001 release of McClelland's debut, full-length CD has created a buzz in the local Toronto independent music scene, establishing her name within the industry.
With one foot firmly planted in the scene she has worked, recorded and played with many notable musicians such as Hawksley Workman, Jian Gomeshi of Moxy Fruvous, the Rheostatics, Rose Polenzani, Danny Michel, Martina Sorbara, Rob Lamothe, Paul Intson, Lisa Winn, Erin Smith, Ember Swift, the Waifs, and Janine Stoll.
With all the attention, McClelland has taken her music abroad, playing in popular venues around Canada and the United States including Boston, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, New York City, Nashville and Seattle.
