Jason Mitchell Jason Mitchell has spent the last fifteen years sequestered away in the quaint seaside town of White Rock B.C. Despite early critical acclaim as the opening performer for the Stein Valley Festival in 1991, Jason remained a coffee house player working diligently on his craft for the next eight years. In 1998, once he began first recording his material, he received a publishing deal from EMI Music Publishing Canada, and subsequently, in 1999, a recording contract with Warner Music Canada. His debut album, The World Is Flat, is a culmination of his past as a songwriter and artist that bristles with warmth innovation, and diversity. He is a definitive voice for our time.
