His sights squarely focused, PHATT al (an acronym for: People Having A Terrific Time always) is reintroducing live, innovative hip-hop to an industry complacent in its acceptance of mediocrity.

Throughout his native Toronto, al rips lyrical and "musical homicide" in venue after venue, reviving the spirit of a by-gone era, when hip-hop was all about rhymes wreaking havoc on even the most seasoned party goers sensibilities. In 1988 PHATT al began the arduous task of perfecting his execution in the discipline of lyrical devastation. Since then, his skill at threading together words, phrases, and concepts has garnered outstanding results.

Making a name for himself with such bands as Len, jackSOUL, bangra innovators Punjabi By Nature and rap metal head bangers Raggadeath, PHATT al has proven himself as an underground leader on the T.O. MC scene.
