Tim IsherwoodPicture a man driving relentless melodies through his 1970s Yamaha electric piano...
Tim Isherwood has a knack for adding catchy melodies to songs with a twist. Some tunes cry "radio-friendly" while others have a hypnotic cluby, dirge feel with arrangements making a decided leap away from the norm.
The tunesmith caught the attention of such notable Canadian musicians as Tom Wilson and Colin Cripps who added their voices to the recording "deadman high" (dMh).
The live buzz began in the summer of 2002 when the Isherwood band was asked to perform on the Mix 99.9 stage on Toronto's Yonge Street before thousands of people.
Since then they've been spreading the gospel of his brand of electronic rock on the Toronto club scene. Incorporating trippy beats and samples off the record, the show is driving and modern.
